Cape Neddick Storm, Nubble Lig
$250
An original watercolor painting of Cape Neddick Storm. Painting is matted and framed to archival standards. I have had a life long love affair with the sea and sky. York, Maine is my refuge and retreat. The ocean, rocks, and shore refresh and heal me. The energy of wave after wave washes over me, calming my racing thoughts and soothing my clenched body.

Moment of Awareness
$200
Background Monhegan Island, Maine An original watercolor painting. Painting is matted and framed to archival standards. I love immersing myself in nature, watching birds and waves breaking on the shore. This painting captures the frozen stillness of the moment when a sparrow and hawk notice each other. What happens next?

Broken Still Standing
$400
Prouty Woods Community Forest, Littleton, MA An original watercolor painting. Painting is matted and framed to archival standards. After 5 days in a critical care unit, I began sketching this painting of a tree I saw in Prouty Woods. That is how I felt – (em dash) Broken but still standing, well sitting and lying down mostly….

…Life…
$200
An original watercolor painting. Painting is matted and framed to archival standards. From my window, I saw a hawk catch and kill a small bird. At the edge of the woods, he fed himself by killing the bird. The cold hard snow held the birds lingering warmth—(em dash) a torn feather touched with blood.

Promise of Spring Fulfilled
$350
Vernal Pool, Acton Arboretum An original watercolor painting. Painting is matted and framed to archival standards. Pollywogs wiggling through the sunken grass caught my eye and evoked memories of childhood walks through the woods, lifting leaves from small ponds, looking for almost frogs.

Trees in Epson’s Mirror
$300
An original watercolor painting. Painting is matted and framed to archival standards. (Accepted Juried Art Exhibit, Concord Art Association, 2006) Before I began to paint, I felt that there was not enough Light. While buried in bits and bytes editing a manual, I glared at my printer because of a paper jam. The reflection, of trees outside my window on the printer’s cover, reminded me that beauty surrounds me. Painting and art taught me that I just need to open my mind and look.
